No Spill Coolant Funnel Adapter

This adapter is designed for Honda Civics, CRVs, and hybrid models that utilize an expansion tank with a pressurized cap, instead of a normal radiator cap. You may notice most No Spill funnel kits do not include the correct adapter for these models. This adapter features a taper to fit most No Spill funnels, and is designed to be used in a similar fashion as all other included adapters. 
Simply select the correct metal lock ring from your kit. Slide the lock ring over the adapter and lock in place on the vehicle’s expansion tank. Next install your funnel into the adapter, fill with coolant and burp away! 

Important Size Difference 

Before selecting an adapter please inspect your funnels spout. We offer two different sized adapters depending on the spout of the funnel 

Tapered Spout

Please see images for reference. The tapered spout can be see on Image 1. These funnels feature a noticeable tapper and are commonly made by Lisle and OEM Tools.

Straight Spout 

Please see images for reference. The straight spout can be seen on Image 2. These funnels feature a straight spout with little to no taper. There is also sometimes a small circular ring near the top of the spout. These funnels are commonly made by Pittsburgh.

Cleaning and Material 

These adapters are made from ASA. Please avoid using cleaners containing acetone as this may damage the adapter. This adapter is rated for temperatures up to 235 F. This Material was chosen as to be the most affordable and most suited for this application. As we understand 235 F is close to operating temperature of some Honda engines. We are working with a new material and plan to release an adapter using the new material in late December to early January. Due to the cost of this material the price will unfortunately increase by about 3X. We do still plan to offer the Adapter in ASA as we have found no issues using our test models 30+ times over a 5 month period. The Adapter may come in Red, Yellow, or Black.
